Which file formats can I upload?

PDF and DOCX files up to 10 MB. Scanned PDFs may fail, because the text has to be selectable.

Will the AI invent experience I don't have?

The AI is instructed not to invent experiences, certifications or skills. It reworks the wording and emphasis of what is already in your resume. Always review the result before sending it.

What happens to my resume?

Your resume text and the job description are sent to OpenAI to generate the tailored version. Generated files are temporary and removed automatically, and the result is saved in your account history.

How do credits work?

Each generation uses 1 credit. New accounts get 1 free credit, and if processing fails the credit is refunded automatically. Extra credits are available through Stripe checkout.

Does ATS-friendly mean I will get the job?

No tool can promise that. CV Fit AI aligns your resume with the job's keywords and avoids formatting that ATS software handles poorly, which helps your resume get read.
